The Game Theorists is a popular YouTube channel that was founded by Matthew Patrick, aka MatPat, and Mat's wife Stephanie Cordato. Matt was born on November 15, 1986 in Medina, Ohio. He got his nickname "MatPat" by his friends when he was in 6th grade. Matt was an only child who took an interest in video games and theater at an early age.
