Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg is the ever-popular OG YouTube influencer PewDiePie. He is a Swedish YouTuber widely known for his Let’s Play content and comedic videos and shows. PewD’s YouTube popularity and massive media coverage made him one of the most prominent online personalities. He has long been portrayed as the forerunner of the gaming industry on YouTube.
He initially pursued an Industrial Engineering and Management degree at Chalmers University of Technology. However, his passion and enjoyment lie in the arts. Following this passion, he entered multiple Photoshop contests in his local place, almost earning him an apprenticeship in a prominent advertising agency.
At the dawn of his creator career, PewDiePie focused on making video game commentaries, mostly on horror and action video games. Felix admitted being timid with what he was doing, as in filming and talking on a microphone alone, because it was generally unheard of at the time.
Starting in 2013, Felix became the most-subscribed YouTube channel and was later overtaken by T-Series in 2017. Nonetheless, he still remains to be a notable YouTuber with millions of avid fans.
Unfortunately, though, Felix became the subject of racism allegations. Worst of all, the attacker of the live-streamed Christchurch mosque shooting said, “Remember lads, subscribe to PewDiePie” before carrying out the attack.
Regardless of his entanglement on multiple issues and conflicts, Felix has 111 million subscribers on YouTube, 21.6 million followers on Instagram, and 528K on Twitter.

Energy drink brand GFUEL partnered with the influencer to promote its products. Felix began actively promoting the brand on his channel. GFUEL is considered one of gaming’s biggest brands.
Amaze software, a creator commerce platform, partnered with Felix to provide fans with an unrivaled experience through exciting PewDiePie merchandise showcasing the influencer’s distinct style and celebrating his digital legacy. Through the partnership, Amaze has the exclusive responsibility of producing and distributing awesome merch on behalf of the influencer’s brand and likeness.
PlayStation collaborated with Felix, and to celebrate his birthday, the brand sent him a cake with a hidden game controller. Felix then revealed what was inside the cake in content watched by more than three million viewers.
