McDonald’s is bringing a treat for Minecraft fans with a limited-time crossover in the UK and Ireland. As part of the promotion, which launches on March 26 ahead of the film’s April release, McDonald’s is introducing a special Minecraft-themed meal tailored for adults.
The viral Minecraft Movie Meal is priced at £8.19 and includes a Big Mac, nine McNuggets, or four Veggie Dippers, accompanied by a side and a carbonated drink. Along with the meal, customers will receive one of six exclusive Minecraft-themed collectibles designed for adults. The collectible lineup includes the Grimace Egg, Zombie Hamburglar, Birdie Wings, Fry Helmet, Soda Potion, and Big Mac Crystal.
In addition to the meal, McDonald’s is also launching a new limited-edition Apple Cake McFlurry, priced at £2.19. This dessert features soft dairy ice cream swirled with apple and shortcake pieces, topped with a tangy sour apple sauce.
Another highlight of the promotion is the Nether Flame Sauce, available for £1.69. Inspired by Minecraft’s fiery Nether world, the sauce combines crushed red pepper and cayenne for heat, complemented by hints of garlic and sweetness.
Notably, there is no kid-friendly Minecraft Happy Meal as part of this promotion. This means younger fans of the franchise may ask parents for the more expensive adult meal to get their hands on the collectibles.
As the film’s release date approaches, promotional tie-ins continue to expand. In addition to the McDonald’s collaboration, new Minecraft Movie LEGO sets, including a LEGO Jack Black as Steve, have been revealed. There is also a Minecraft Movie-themed popcorn bucket set to launch alongside the film.
With excitement building, McDonald’s limited-time Minecraft Movie Meal is expected to be a big hit among gaming enthusiasts and collectors alike. Fans eager to grab these exclusive items should act fast, as availability will likely be limited.
