Desi Perkins is a supermom beauty influencer, makeup artist, and entrepreneur. Due to her growing interest in fashion and beauty, Desi found success as a content creator and built successful namesake brands — her skincare line Dezi Skin and eyewear brand Dezi.
Before rising to internet fame, Desi worked as a cocktail waitress in the F&B service industry. She often credits many of the traits she learned in the service industry that helped shape the person she has become in the present. However, due to her husband’s urging, she quit the industry and ventured into makeup.
It was a big decision and a turning point in her life. However, her success didn’t happen overnight. Desi’s creativity gave her the big break she needed. She gained recognition as a makeup artist after creating her husband’s Halloween skeleton get-up.
From then on, she saw how makeup became her creative outlet, so she decided to pursue the path. In 2013, the influencer started actively posting content on her social media channels, including YouTube. She gradually earned viewers until reaching the staggering subscriber count of 3.2M on YouTube.
Aside from her rapidly increasing YouTube audience, Desi has amassed 4.4M followers on Instagram, 678.4K on Twitter, 524.6K on Tiktok, and 95K on Facebook.
