Who is Desi Perkins?
Desi Perkins is a supermom beauty influencer, makeup artist, and entrepreneur. Due to her growing interest in fashion and beauty, Desi found success as a content creator and built successful namesake brands -- her skincare line Dezi Skin and eyewear brand Dezi.
Before rising to internet fame, Desi worked as a cocktail waitress in the F&B service industry. She often credits many of the traits she learned in the service industry that helped shape the person she has become in the present. However, due to her husband's urging, she quit the industry and ventured into makeup.
It was a big decision and a turning point in her life. However, her success didn't happen overnight. Desi's creativity gave her the big break she needed. She gained recognition as a makeup artist after creating her husband's Halloween skeleton get-up.
From then on, she saw how makeup became her creative outlet, so she decided to pursue the path. In 2013, the influencer started actively posting content on her social media channels, including YouTube. She gradually earned viewers until reaching the staggering subscriber count of 3.2M on YouTube.

Desi and co-beauty influencer Katy De Groot, aka Lustrelux, partnered in 2017 for a full makeup line. The two giant beauty gurus worked for two years to curate the perfect cosmetics for makeup enthusiasts.
Quay x Desi Perkins
Cult fashion eyewear brand Quay collaborated with the influencer in 2018 for a new collection of the brand's popular Sahara metal frames in three new colors. The sunglasses in this collection boasted desert-inspired transparent lenses in beautiful metal aviator frames. The collaboration was a huge hit that it extended due to popular demand.
Target x Desi Perkins
Desi posted a vibrant and bold makeup tutorial in collaboration with Target on her YouTube account. The products she used for the entire makeup look are all-natural and can be found easily on all Target Style shelves.
