Who is Chris Bumstead?
Christopher Adam Bumstead, better known as Chris Bumstead, is an IFBB professional bodybuilder and fitness icon from Canada. Christ is the reigning Mr. Olympia Classic Physique winner, having won the competition in four consecutive years from 2019 to 2022. He maintains a large and active online presence with focus content on bodybuilding and lifestyle.
Growing up with different sports, Chris entered bodybuilding as a hobby. His involvement in various sports sparked his interest in weightlifting and bodybuilding. In 12th grade, Christ found himself taking weight training seriously.
But it wasn't until Iain Valliere, Chris's former coach and his sister's husband, saw his potential and helped him train for competitions. Valliere took Chris Bumstead under his wing and trained him on the ins and outs of bodybuilding. Then at 19, Chris competed in his first show with his sister, Melissa Valliere.
Aside from being an established fitness icon, Chris is active on social media, where he reveals how he trains, competes, and lives life in general. He also hosts a podcast and does online fitness coaching.
