Who is Simone Giertz?

Simone Giertz is an influencer, inventor, and TV host. She manages a YouTube channel filled with awesome inventions.

Simone has been fond of building and rebuilding stuff since she was young. In fact, she has a YouTube video showing how she remade a chair she built at seven years old. Following her studies at Hyper Island in Stockholm, she started building different inventions inspired by the open-source hardware community in her local area.

Her interest in electronics began in 2013 when she invented a toothbrush helmet for the pilot episode of a children's electronic show.

She's also a robotics enthusiast who often creates mechanical robots to automate daily tasks and makes them fall short of practical usefulness for a comedic effect.

In 2019, she converted her Tesla Model 3 into a pickup truck and immediately went viral. Picking on her ingenuity, Tesla invited her to the unveiling of the Cybertruck, the brand's official pickup truck.

Aside from her YouTube content, Simone also hosted the Swedish comedy TV show Manick and presented at a TED Talk conference on Why You Should Make Useless Things. Then in 2022, she launched Yetch, her own product design company.

Her out-of-the-box inventions and witty content allowed her to accumulate a steady online community and a YouTube subscriber count of 2.6M. Furthermore, she has an impressive 531.9K followers on Twitter, 483K on Instagram, 316K on Facebook, and 83.3K on TikTok.
