Who is Tara Milk Tea?
Tara Whiteman, popularly called Tara Milk Tea by her fans, is one of the pioneering social media influencers. Years back, the term 'influencer' wasn't popular, and people posted on their social media channels for fun. Tara loves supporting local cafes and restaurants and enjoys taking flat-lay photos. And all she knew was that, back then, she only created content for the enjoyment of it all.
Eventually, this Sydney-based influencer's Instagram blew up, and she started getting inquiries for brand partnerships and collaborations. From there, Tara connected with several other social media influencers until she became part of a tight-knit, small Australian influencer community.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the travel restrictions allowed Tara to make some alterations to her content and gave her some time to reflect. As a result, she now ventured into lifestyle content besides travel and fashion.

The Korea Tourism Organization Sydney Office collaborated with the influencer in their Friendship Series campaign. The campaign was an online event conversation where Tara and Edwina Bartholomew talked about the best places in South Korea.
Canon Collaboration
In Collaboration with Canon to promote the Canon EOS M6, Tara photographed a few food shots at the Canon event at the Grounds of Alexandria. Furthermore, she gave out food photography tips that Canon published in their blog.
Wanderlust + Co. x Tara Milk Tea
Wanderlust + Co. collaborated with Tara in releasing a capsule jewelry collection. The collection takes inspiration from Sydeny's night skies and sunsets. The Daydreamer earrings feature stars and a moon topped with the planet Saturn, while the Makes Me Wonder bracelet is adorned with wishing star charms.
Fairmont Pacific Rim Collaboration
In partnership with Tourism Vancouver, Fairmont Pacific Rim tapped Tara Milk Tea to showcase the beautiful Vancouver and where to visit over the holidays back in 2018. The result of this collaboration is beautifully-curated content featuring a Vancouver itinerary blog and captivating photos.
