Who is Unbox Therapy?
Lewis George Hilsenteger, popularly known as Unbox Therapy, is a Canadian influencer and tech commentator known for his unboxing and tech reviews on YouTube videos.
In 2010, Lewis Hilsenteger and Jack McCann, the person behind the lens, created Unbox Therapy, an unboxing YouTube channel. Hilsenteger made the channel after finding unboxing videos to be therapeutic to watch. His Unbox Therapy channel is basically giving viewers the pleasure of unboxing new gadgets without purchasing them.
Unbox Therapy's most popular video was the "iPhone 6 Plus Bend Test" in 2014. That video sparked a debate on the likelihood of an iPhone 6 plus bending when placed in pockets. In that video, Hilsenteger bent the phone with his bare hands without fearing a thing since he believed the revenue he'd get out of that video would be sufficient to purchase another phone.
After only a few days, over ten million users viewed his video, making it viral enough to land YouTube's fifth-highest trending upload at the time.
Unbox Therapy rose to stardom, acquiring over 19 million subscribers on YouTube, 2.6 million followers on Twitter, 2.5 million on Instagram, 1.5 million on Facebook, and 469.8 thousand on TikTok.

Unbox Therapy posted a review of the bag on his channel, claiming it to be the perfect gadget bag. The brand then saw the video and teamed up with Hilsenteger to improve the bag's design and features.
BYLT Collaboration
Hilsenteger often uses a cap on his videos, so BYLT, a fashion brand, didn't let the opportunity of collaborating with him on a cap pass. Their partnership forged a minimalist black cap perfect for wearing on casual days.
OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition Product Launch
OnePlus, a gadget brand, launched its limited edition Star Wars phone in 2017. And Hilsenteger, being the famed tech and unboxing guy he is, was invited to the product launching at the Carnival Cinemas in Mumbai. His attendance at the event only proves that he's renowned worldwide.
