Who is SQUEEZIE?
French YouTube influencer Lucas Hauchard, better known as SQUEEZIE, is a prominent francophone gaming creator who specializes in vlogs, commentaries, and Let's Play content. He currently manages two YouTube channels, Squeezie and SqueezieGaming, with a combined subscriber count of over 22 million.
Hauchard launched his first YouTube channel in 2008 with focused content on the Dofus Bouclier video game. The channel only has two videos and has been inactive since its launch year. He created another channel, TheVideobc, two years later with only three videos and has also been inactive since 2010.
In 2011, the influencer finally settled on his current primary channel Squeezie. He only launched this channel at 15, so given his young age, it's understandable why it took him quite a while to settle on the platform.
Since then, his focus niche has always been gaming and entertainment. His channel gradually gained recognition and achieved a fairly high profile, making him the youngest French YouTuber to gain over a million subscribers.
In 2013, Hauchard partnered with a co-French YouTube influencer Cyprien, and created the Bigorneaux & Couqillage YouTube channel.
Like most prominent influencers, Hauchard received backlash and issues, as people accused him of copying PewdiePie's content and style. He refuted the accusation through a video.
According to SocialBlade, the influencer was the most popular French YouTuber in 2014, staying ahead of famous French YouTubers Remi Gaillard, Cyprien, The Sound You Need, and Norman.
Aside from creating YouTube content, Hauchard also makes music, selling his first album Oxyz in September 2020. He's had multiple collaborations with other French hitmakers, with their songs featured in radio and music festivals.
Hauchard's notability as a French YouTuber earned him 18.2M YouTube subscribers on his primary channel, 9.4M followers on Twitter, 8.4M on Instagram, 4.9M on TikTok, and 2.3M on Facebook.
