Did Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez get married again? They sure did! Love is sweeter the second time around as proven by Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck wedding in Georgia. This, after exchanging their “I DOs” in Las Vegas just a month ago.
Bennifer tied the knot once again on August 20th in an intimate ceremony held at the actor’s massive estate in Georgia. Both JLo and the Academy Award winner donned white ensembles along with their family and friends.
Inside the 87- Acre Venue
So where is JLOS wedding? Ben’s waterfront private property spans 87 acres with a 6,000-square-foot home, complete with a helipad and shed for a seaplane arrival. An extravagant place indeed to hold the Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck wedding. Preparations for this magical event started about two weeks ago and it is reported that the location is about 45 minutes South of Savannah in Riceboro town situated on Georgia’s Hampton Island.
Sources say that Ben purchased this home when he and Jen were dating back in the early 2000s. The pair loved how the place managed to be private and low-key. Their home went through some renovations to suit their taste but both undoubtedly love its location.
Ben tried selling the property years ago but didn’t have much luck on the market, which proved to be a good thing. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have had this breathtaking venue, to begin with. Ben and Jen are convinced this was truly meant to be.
Ben and Jen’s Kids Give Their Full Support To Their Parents
As to who were at Jen and Ben’s wedding, eyewitness accounts had all of the couple’s five children in the venue. Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, Ben’s three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner were present, as well as JLo’s twins with Mark Anthony, Max, and Emmy were there.
All of them were present in the ceremony, which lasted about 20 minutes and was officiated by famous life coach Jay Shetty. After which, everyone posed for family photos on the dock by the water. It was both classy and romantic as the newlyweds had an old-fashioned car on standby ready to take them away.
JLo was said to have been over the moon and was crying tears of joy as she walked down the aisle. The singer looked mesmerizing in a short-sleeved Ralph Lauren gown with its long and fluffy train, and an extra-long veil to finish the look. Ben on the other hand looked as debonaire as ever with his white tux jacket and black pants.
Who Was At Jen And Ben’s Wedding?
Aside from their children, other guests present were Ben Affleck’s best friend Matt Damon with his wife Luciana. Also included were the actor’s longtime friends and colleagues such as director Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes. Affleck’s agent Patrick Whitesell and wife Pia Miller also attended the event. Everyone also noticed Casey Affleck’s absence, Ben’s younger brother when the actor was photographed earlier in the day in LA.
Compared To Their First Wedding Inside The Chapel
Where is JLo’s wedding to Ben the first time around? The pop superstar’s transformation into Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck first took place at the famous A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. This only proved that a couple whose net worth is estimated to be $550 million can still rock it with a $180 Tunnel Of Love Extravaganza.
The aisle that Jen walked on a month ago after midnight was also the venue for other A-listers such as Britney Spears who got married there back in 2004, as well as Joe Jonas and GOT star, Sophie Turner.
Fans were also amused by Ben Affleck’s video using the men’s tiny bathroom to change. For their first wedding, Jen wore a white laced, off-shoulder gown by Zuhair Murad. It was from the Lebanese fashion designers’ 2023 bridal collection. Earlier that evening though, she wore one of her white dresses from an old movie.
All The Buzz About Jen’s Post-Wedding Glow
People were also amazed at Jennifer Lopez’s post-wedding glow from her bed the next morning as she shows off her simple, classic wedding band. Jen’s kids were said to have been present during the brief ceremony but no word came if Ben’s three children were also there. Ben’s ex Jennifer Garner was reported to be enjoying a weekend getaway in Lake Tahoe during that time.
Is Eloping Still A Thing?
If Bennifer is any indication, apparently, it still is! Sources say Ben and Jen wanted to elope to Las Vegas because the couple has so much fun together and thought this too would also be a fun idea. Jen said it was the best possible wedding they could have imagined, and that love is patient.
It is 20 years patient. About the number of years, they had to wait before they could get back together after they broke off their first engagement. Jen described her husband as “the one that got away” and according to her, Ben was her first real heartbreak. So will this happy ever after last? Only time will tell.
