Organize your templates in a folder or cloud storage system for easy access, especially when working with a social media marketing or content team.  Use and update. Furthermore, maintaining a consistent social media aesthetic instantly makes you recognizable.  Time-saving Creating a new design from scratch for each social media post can consume a chunk of your time. Templates streamline the process by providing a pre-designed framework that you can customize quickly, giving you the luxury of time to enjoy other things and helping you become efficient in your social media marketing process. You may also streamline your social media marketing efforts to save time through a social media management tool. Among our favorites is Social Champ. You can read more about it in our Social Champ review.  Brand identity Remember that to start building your social media templates, you must establish your brand identity first. At the same time, these templates will enable you to stick to this identity by incorporating your brand's visual identity, including colors, fonts, and logos, into your social media posts. Professionalism Well-designed templates can enhance the professionalism of your social media presence, making your brand appear more polished and credible to your audience. The modern-day audience doesn't trust brands that seem "sketchy," a.k.a. disorganized and unprofessional. Hence, it's crucial to maintain the professional vibe of your brand to attract new consumers.  Scalability Templates can be scaled to fit different social media platforms and content types, ensuring your posts look good across various channels and devices. Always remember that your viewers consume content differently- some often use mobile phones and tablets, while others use PCs. Social media templates allow you to cater to all your viewers.  Adaptability Templates can be easily adapted for different purposes, such as promoting new products, sharing announcements, or running marketing campaigns while maintaining a cohesive visual style. Gone are the days of spending hours and days on various brand and campaign materials, all thanks to graphic designing tools and social media templates.  Engagement Eye-catching and visually appealing templates can help grab your audience's attention and increase engagement with your social media posts. However, to receive maximum engagement, use aesthetics that match the overall vibe and tone of your brand or business. If you are running a pastry shop, you can incorporate pastel colors, but if your business is anything related to sports equipment, blue, black, red, and white are your safest bets. The point is that your audience will engage with you the most if your content and social media templates are creative but cohesive.  FAQsWhat are social media templates? Pre-designed frameworks used to create consistent, branded content across social platforms. How can templates save time in content creation? They provide a ready-to-use structure, reducing the need for designing each post from scratch. Can templates help with brand identity? Continuous learning and adaptability can significantly impact your brand's success on social media.Discord[caption id="attachment_11169" align="alignnone" width="1024"] Discord is one of the most popular ways to connect online with hundreds of millions of users.[/caption]First on the list is Discord, with over 150 million active users per month. In 2015, it started as a group chat platform primarily dedicated to gaming. So plenty of gamers would hop on board to create a group to discuss a specific game topic. But in 2020, it took off as a social media platform beyond gaming, but a communications app that allows you to share voice, video, and chat with friends, gaming communities, and developers. To use Discord, participants join themed servers, and anyone can create their own server after they sign up to become a discord member. You can also invite people to join your server with a link. Server admins can create text and voice channels narrowed by topic or restricted by users, such as age channel topics.Twitter[caption id="attachment_11170" align="alignnone" width="1024"] Using Twitter for business allows users to share information fast and start engaging in conversations with their target audience.[/caption]Next is Twitter, with more than 330 million active users. Twitter is one of the oldest social media platforms, started in 2006. At that time, you could share your thoughts as long as you limit your characters to 140. Thus, you must be creative to come up with short but catchy takes. You can also follow other public figures and celebrities and contribute to the conversation. Tweeting and retweeting have become great ways to amplify a message you are passionate about. However, today, the platform has extended it to up to 280 characters per tweet, and photos and videos can already be shared. In 2020 it went through one of its biggest updates by coming up with something that became known as a Twitter fleet, where the photos and videos you share will disappear after 24 hours. In other platforms, however, this is known as Stories. This is a great way to share something on Twitter that does not have to stay forever on their profile. Speaking of which, now is the time to try out a cloud-based Twitter growth tool to help brands post content, schedule, and increase engagement. In 2011 it began as a messaging platform for sending messages to your friends, and then the message will disappear after looking at it once. This was the unique thing about Snapchat that made it so popular with the younger generation since it was a feature no one else had.Snapchat also has realistic filters when recording yourself on camera or taking selfies. You can put on a mustache, a big, funny hat, and even turn yourself into a baby! There were a lot of funny and cool things to play around with that eventually turned into a full-blown social media platform. In 2020 it introduced Spotlight for sharing videos in a vertical format which lasted around 15 seconds. Other platforms on social media have their version of this as well.Reddit[caption id="attachment_11172" align="alignnone" width="1024"] Businesses will benefit from Reddit because many people come here to ask about potential purchases, air complaints about products or services, and other things you want to watch out for as an entrepreneur.[/caption]At number 7 is Reddit, with over 430 million active monthly users, which has been around since 2005. It used to be just an internet forum mainly for sharing content and could be used anonymously. Just create a personal profile, read the latest posts, share comments, and create your own posts. When you have a Reddit account, your posts could be text, photo, or video-based. They could also be link-based, meaning you share another website using your Reddit page. The way Reddit works is through its upvote and downvote system. When a post is created on the platform, people can either upvote or downvote. So the one with the most upvote wiggles up to the top of Reddit, which was called the front page of the internet since the most popular post will move up to the front page. It was something to be super proud of if you made it to the top. Reddit is made up of hundreds of thousands of communities known as subreddits. So it doesn't matter what your interest is. You can go to reddit.com and search for it. What are the top 20 social media sites? The answer to this question can also be found on Reddit!Pinterest[caption id="attachment_11173" align="alignnone" width="1024"] Pinterest for your brand is amazing for brand exposure and increasing your potential customer base.[/caption]Then at number 6 in our list of the best social media platforms is Pinterest, with over 445 million active monthly users. This social network has been around since 2010, so it's also one of the oldest members of this group. It's like a digital scrapbook where you create a profile or a board for yourself. Think of it like a folder on your computer. Within that board are different items called pins. You can make boards for whatever interests you, for toys, gadgets, recipes, DIY, and just about anything you can imagine.Starting is easy; create an account with multiple boards depending on your interests. Then search all of Pinterest and find unique things you could pin on your board/s. They can be in the form of photos, videos, or even animations that could be linked to other websites. You can also pin other people's things onto your board and create your very own customized scrapbook. And to ensure you have your content planned weeks or months ahead, why not get the help of a social media scheduling and automation application? Read more on our Social Champ review.LinkedIn[caption id="attachment_11174" align="alignnone" width="1024"] With the right LinkedIn marketing strategy, you can build credibility, create your own meaningful network and establish your brand as an authority in the industry.[/caption]Number 5 on our list of social media platforms is LinkedIn with over 760 million active monthly users. It is no longer privately owned since Microsoft purchased the company for $26 billion in 2016. LinkedIn is the oldest of all the social media platforms out there since its foundation in 2003. We are talking about 20 years of existence, long before YouTube or Facebook emerged. This is the only social media platform specifically designed for professionals. This means you create a profile the way you do with other socials. However, you don't share personal stuff on that profile. You share your resume and work history instead, plus a professional headshot for your photo. This is because you can easily connect with other professionals who are there either to hire or look for work. Of course, you can still share articles, photos, and videos as long as you keep them professional and work-related.TikTok[caption id="attachment_11175" align="alignnone" width="1024"] TikTok serves as an all-in-one tool for brands to advertise on.[/caption]Then at number 4, we have TikTok, with over a billion active monthly users. The platform exploded on social media in 2020 and created TikTok superstars like Charli D'Amelio, Addison Rae, and Bella Poarch. TikTok took off in 2018 when it acquired Musical.ly, which had a similar design and where people created a lot of dance or lip-syncing videos. It's a social media platform for sharing short-form videos that began with 15-second videos, with 60 seconds being the maximum. TikTok came with photo and video templates as well. Mainly it was used for entertainment purposes, but entrepreneurs quickly picked up on its potential as a great marketing and advertising tool for building their brand and increasing their reach to their target audience.Instagram[caption id="attachment_11176" align="alignnone" width="1024"] Entrepreneurs use Instagram to drive brand awareness, boosting sales, and building and tracking audience engagement.[/caption]Then there's Instagram at number 3, with over 2 billion active monthly users. When it was created in 2010, it was merely a filtering and camera, but it has evolved into a colossal social media platform. 2010 was also the rise of amazing camera phones, so it was perfect timing. People took pictures to post on Instagram while using it as a filtering app. In 2012 Facebook purchased Instagram for over $1 billion.Ever since Facebook took over, it underwent a lot of significant updates. Gone are the days when it was just a filtering or photo-sharing app. Now people go live on the platform, sharing long or short-form videos. There's also Instagram Stories, where the photos and videos you posted will disappear after 24 hours, much like Snapchat. Then 15-second Instagram Reels were introduced to compete with TikTok. There was also IGTV so you could share videos longer than a minute, with a maximum of 60 minutes for selected accounts.YouTube[caption id="attachment_11177" align="alignnone" width="1024"] Brands can utilize YouTube to address customer queries, promote brand messages, and more.[/caption]At number 2, we have YouTube, with over 2.6 billion active monthly users. It was one of the most popular social media platforms 2021 or any year for that matter. In 2020 entrepreneurs realized how much traffic they could get as business owners on TikTok but then realized that the audience wasn't loyal. This all changed with YouTube Shorts since not only is it driving growth to your YouTube channels, but with the latest algorithm updates, if somebody watches your Shorts, they will also be served your long-form content. This means, then, that you can attract and nurture your target audience all at once in a single platform. And lucky for those planning to start or already have a podcast since YouTube has a dedicated section for podcasts. Do not hesitate to post long-form videos on YouTube because they do not depreciate in value, even if it's been weeks, months, or years. People can always search and find you and your content. This is Evergreen content, unlike Instagram or TikTok, where content will eventually depreciate in a few days or weeks. Also, because you're making long-form videos, you can chop these up to create short-form clips that you can then distribute on TikTok or Instagram or repost on YouTube Shorts.Facebook[caption id="attachment_11178" align="alignnone" width="1024"] The Facebook business page is designed for brands wanting to promote products and services using links, status updates, photos, and videos.[/caption]So, what is the main social media platform? It's none other than Facebook, with over 2.9 billion active monthly users. It is a powerful platform regardless of the size or type of business you are in. Here you can reach more potential customers and grow your brand online by engaging in paid or organic marketing or both. Thus, it is highly recommended that you also create a professional Facebook business page. From a simple Facebook profile, the platform has added various features and now has a robust mobile app on iOS and Android. The Facebook app has become one of the top downloaded social media apps in the last decade or so. Today, the estimated valuation of Facebook is right over $800 billion. As a result, YouTube India's CPM is often much lower than in other countries. How to Calculate YouTube CPMTo calculate your YouTube CPM, you’ll need to know three pieces of information: Your total budgetYour total budget is the amount of money you're willing to spend on your YouTube ad campaign. This includes the cost of production, distribution, and any other associated costs. Once you know your total budget, you can divide it by the number of views you want to get. This will give you your CPM.For example, let's say you have a total budget of $10,000. You want to get 1 million views on your ad. This would give you a CPM of $10. Once you know your CPM, you can start planning your YouTube ad campaign. The number of impressions your video receivedImpressions are defined as the number of times your video is played. You can calculate your CPM by taking the number of impressions and dividing it by 1,000. For example, if your video received 3,000 views, your CPM would be $3.As mentioned above, your YouTube CPM will vary depending on a number of factors. However, you can get a general idea of how much you can expect to earn per 1,000 views by looking at the average CPM for different ad types. For example, display ads have an average CPM of $2.80, while video ads have an average CPM of $9.35.Cost per impressionGenerally, when calculating your YouTube CPM, you'll need to know the cost per view of your ad and the number of views that your ad receives. The formula for calculating CPM is: (cost per view) / (number of views) * 1,000For example, if an advertiser pays $0.50 per view and their ad receives 1,000 views, their CPM would be $0.50/1,000*1,000, or $5.00.To get an accurate CPM, you can use a YouTube CPM calculator. Define KPIsAs a YouTuber and social media marketer, it's important to have a firm grasp of your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). KPIs are metrics that you can use to track and measure progress and success. When it comes to YouTube, some common KPIs include views, likes, comments, shares, and subscribers.7. Choose the right monetization strategy for each videoThere are a few things to consider when choosing the right monetization strategy. First, you need to think about the content of your video and whether it’s appropriate for ads. If your video isn’t appropriate for ads, you should consider using other strategies like affiliate links or product placements. Secondly, you need to consider your audience and what they’re most likely to click on. If your audience is mostly made up of children, you should avoid using strategies that require them to click on adult content. Finally, you need to test different strategies and see which ones work best for your videos.8. Monitor your progressContinuously monitoring your progress will help maximize your CPM. And in doing this, you should pay attention to your KPIs.  First, take a look at your view count. This will give you an idea of how many people are watching your videos. If you notice a decline in views, you may need to change your content or promotional strategy. Another metric to keep an eye on is the number of likes and dislikes your videos are receiving. This can give you insights into what type of content your viewers prefer. If you notice that certain videos are getting more likes than others, try to produce similar content in the future. Finally, take a look at the comments section under each of your videos. If you aren’t getting a lot of comments, find ways to engage your audience more and make them talk about your video in the comment section. Get started by checking this Denim Social review. Factors That Affect YouTube CPMThe following factors can have an impact on your CPM for YouTube:Type of content you produceWhen it comes to YouTube, the type of content you produce can have an effect on your CPM. So, what types of content tend to have a higher CPM? Generally speaking, videos that are educational or informative in nature tend to do well. This is because advertisers are looking to reach an audience who’s interested in learning about new products or services. On the other hand, videos that are purely entertainment-focused may not do as well in terms of CPM. This is because these types of videos typically have a lower view-through rate, which means people are less likely to watch an ad all the way through. To create high-quality social media content, use a tool like the one in this Capssion review. Length of your videosWhile the average YouTuber might not think about it, the length of videos can have an effect on CPM. And while a longer video might mean more total views, it also means that ads will be running for a longer period of time, which can sometimes result in a lower CPM.For example, if a YouTuber has two videos, one that’s 10 minutes long and one that’s 5 minutes long, they might assume that the 10-minute video will earn them more money because it has the potential for more views. However, if both videos have the same number of views, the 5-minute video will actually generate a higher CPM because there are fewer opportunities for viewers to skip ads or leave the page entirely. What country your viewers are fromCountries with a higher GDP tend to have higher CPMs because advertisers are willing to pay more for ads that’ll be seen by people in those countries. So, if you have a lot of viewers from countries like the United States or Japan, you can expect to see higher CPMs than if you have viewers from less wealthy countries.Demographics of your viewersIt's no secret that the demographics of your audience can play a big role in how much money you make on YouTube. And while there are many factors that go into your overall CPM, understanding the demographics of your viewers is an important piece of the puzzle. So, what exactly do we mean when we talk about demographic data? Basically, it's any information that can be used to identify a particular group of people. This can include things like age, gender, income, and location. And when it comes to YouTube, this data can be incredibly valuable in terms of understanding who your viewers are and what they're interested in. Each format serves different marketing objectives and caters to specific audience behaviors.Targeting Capabilities: Advertisers can leverage YouTube's robust targeting options, such as demographic targeting, interests, topics, keywords, and remarketing, to reach their desired audience effectively.Cost-Effective Advertising: YouTube advertising operates on a cost-per-view (CPV) or cost-per-thousand-impressions (CPM) basis, allowing advertisers to control budgets and optimize for performance.Ad Creation Best Practices: Successful YouTube ads often feature engaging content within the first few seconds, clear calls-to-action, and alignment with the brand's message to capture and retain viewer attention.Measurement and Analytics: YouTube provides comprehensive analytics tools to track ad performance, including metrics like view rate, click-through rate (CTR), and audience retention, enabling data-driven decision-making.Create Your Own YouTube ChannelHow can I advertise on YouTube, you say? These ads are run using your Google Ads account, but first, you will need to set up your own YouTube channel. Log in to your Google account, then hover over YouTube. Click on the profile picture found on the top right-hand side. There you will see the first option which is Create a Channel. After clicking, add a name, then click Next. You have just created your YouTube channel. This is where you will upload the video you want to run as an ad to this channel. But first, you need to create your Google Ads account. To begin, go to ads.google.com then click on Sign in. It's best to use the same Gmail login for both your YouTube channel and Google Ads account. Next, click on the New Google Ads Account button so it can create your account. Your Google Ads account will now present you with options. One of them is being able to connect your Google My Business account. If you have an existing YouTube video that you wish to run as an ad that's uploaded to your new YouTube account, select your video. It will then ask for your video's URL. However, if you don't have the video you need to run yet, select Your website then go through every single prompt pertaining to your business information. It may ask questions about your budget, or a different ad copy for this new Google Ads account. There's no need for you to use the options to run your current YouTube ad, but choose whatever you want on these prompts so you can move through the setup process. Only then can you create the ad you want to run on YouTube. Linking your Google Ad Account to Your YouTube ChannelYour Google Ads account is now set up, so the next thing you want to do is link your YouTube channel to this account you have just created. To do this, go to the Tools and Settings button found at the top-right and click on the Linked accounts option. When you see a YouTube channel, click Manage and Link. You will then see a blue + button to click on. You can type in your channel name, or simply paste your YouTube channel's URL. But if you signed in using the same Gmail account that you have for your YouTube channel, expect it to auto-populate. Choose the Video you Plan to Run as an AdGo to your YouTube channel and click on YouTube Studio found on the top-right, then click on Content. You can upload your video there, or look for the video that you want to run as your YouTube ad. You can choose to have this video Public, but it's better to have your ads unlisted so it won't show up on your channel. Then get a shareable link to paste the URL of this specific video to paste on your Google Ads account. Your Google Ad CampaignReturn to your Google Ads account then choose the Create New Campaign option. The next screen will ask you to select the goal you will use for this campaign. You can click on Create a campaign without guidance. Next, select the type of ad you would like to run as a YouTube ad, and in this case, it's Video. Next, it will give you the option to choose a campaign sub-type. You will decide where your ads will be shown. For this example, choose Custom video campaign then click on Continue. Select Ad SettingsConsistently monitor your views to see if you are reaching your target audienceTo select your ad settings, go through the prompts one by one. Choose the options that suit you best. Note that the campaign name must be related to your campaign's goal or the particular YouTube ad you're going to run. Only you will be able to see the name of your ad. You can use two options for your bid strategy. Either utilize the Cost per View or the CPM, which is the cost per thousand. For now, choose Maximum Cost Per View. Under Budget and Dates, you can choose a daily budget or the overall budget for your campaign. If you go for the overall campaign budget, you will need to put the start and end dates. However, if you choose the daily budget, there's no need to select any dates for that. For now, go for the daily budget. Your next option will be the Networks. There are three various options to choose from. YouTube search results will show your ads on the YouTube search results. While the YouTube videos option will show your ad inside YouTube videos. And finally, the Display Network allows your video to be shown on other platforms apart from YouTube. For this example, choose YouTube videos. Next, choose the country and location you want your ads to be shown, plus, the language you wish your ads to be shown in. Then you have the Inventory Type. For now, select the Standard Inventory option. Such options pertain to the type of content, and primarily sensitive content that your ads may appear inside or next to. The next option will be to exclude your ads from particular types of content. These can be live-streaming videos, games, or even embedded YouTube videos. If you don't want to exclude your ads from these content types, just go to the next prompt. You will also be given the option of adding a related video. This video below your own video ad is meant to give your ad more context. ConversionsYou have two options under the Conversions tab. If you already have one set up, select the option for choosing a conversion action for your ad campaign. Or, just leave it as the default. But since this is your first ad, you can leave the additional options to default. If you wish to run your ads on certain days of the week, or specific times of the day, so you can reach your audience at their optimum time or make the most out of your budget, you can experiment with these options. And to make life easier as a YouTube creator, check out our Social Aider review. Choose Your Target AudienceYouTube advertising won't be effective if you do not have the correct demographicsNext, create a name for your ad group, then move on to the audiences and placements for your advertisement. The first option that will pop up is your demographics. Check off the ages, genders, or income levels of your choice, or just leave them all selected. Then continue with these specific audiences on the next tab. Under the Audience segments tab, select the type of people you want to see your ad. Affinity audiences are related to things these people are interested in. Just remember that YouTube is the second biggest search engine in the world, with Google holding the number one spot. So they have a high level of data on people's interests. Affinity audiences are usually extremely accurate. But if you click on the Browse tab, you can see additional audience segments to choose from. Some will be based on your own business data. For this post, we won't select any of these audiences and target them based on placements. Next is the Content tab, which relates to the audiences you're. You can target based on topic, keyword, or placements. Placements tend to be a bit misleading as they pertain to people who are going to see your video ad, and not just where your ad will show up on the screen. You will have the option to choose specific YouTube videos or channels, or websites that these people have gone through. Choose Your Bidding Amount for YouTube AdvertisingNow, you need to go through the bidding section, which is where you will put the maximum amount of money you are willing to pay for a view of this video ad. A good starting point for most businesses would be $1. You won't typically pay one dollar per view, but that's enough wiggle room for the algorithm to show your ad to a bigger number of people without putting a limit on your reach. Creating Your Video AdDeciding whether to use skippable or non-skippable ads will depend on what works best for youTo create your video ad, select New Video Ad. For this example, you can do a skippable in-stream video. You can paste this URL from the specific video ad you will be running. Additional options are entering the destination, where you want the audience to be directed to when they click on your ad. They also give you about 10 characters for your call to action. For your headline, you have 15 characters, so be concise. You also have the URL or UTM parameters for adding to your specific ad. Then give your ad name then click Done. After going through all these options, click on the Create Campaign button. You have just created your first YouTube ad video. How Does Advertising on YouTube Work?Utilize your YouTube analytics to track your progressYou will know if your YouTube advertising efforts have paid off by analyzing your Video Ad performance. First, click Continue to Campaign. Here, you will see the ad group you have created. When you see a green dot on the left, this means your ad group is currently active. To your right, it must say Eligible. If your ad is not approved, you will see on the ad level a note, saying something like 'Rejected.' It could still be pending and being reviewed. You must wait for YouTube for approval before your ad starts running. However, this does not take very long. On this screen, you can see your number of users, your cost per view, link clicks, and your conversions. If you are tracking your conversions from YouTube Ads, there are a couple of ways for doing this. Conversions can be set up within Google Tag Manager. It is also possible to create a standalone landing page for your YouTube ads. In this way, you know the conversions that are coming from this page have resulted from your YouTube ads. A call tracking number could also be used if you want people to call your business from this ad itself. When your ad goes live, those analytics will begin rolling in.  FAQ:What are the main types of YouTube ads?The primary YouTube ad formats include:Skippable In-Stream Ads: Play before, during, or after videos and can be skipped after 5 seconds.Non-Skippable In-Stream Ads: Must be watched before the video can be viewed, typically lasting 15 seconds.Bumper Ads: Non-skippable ads up to 6 seconds long, designed for brief messages.Overlay Ads: Semi-transparent ads that appear on the lower 20% of the video.Display Ads: Appear to the right of the feature video and above the video suggestions list. How does targeting work on YouTube?YouTube's targeting options allow advertisers to reach specific audiences based on demographics (age, gender, parental status), interests, topics, keywords, placements (specific channels or videos), and remarketing to users who have previously interacted with their brand. What is the cost structure for YouTube ads?YouTube ads typically operate on a CPV or CPM basis. One way to do this is to follow them and interact with their content. It also helps TikTok algorithms understand what kind of content you produce. To get the most out of content creation and planning, read this Hopper HQ review. Tag people or brandsTagging people or brands in your video content helps give you credibility. When you tag someone, he or she is notified and can leave a comment on your video. This helps increase the chances your video will be seen by more people. In addition, when you tag someone or a brand, it shows you’re interested in them and want to connect with them. This can help you get verified because it shows you’re an active member of the TikTok community.Apply for verificationAfter creating a TikTok profile, connecting with other users, posting high-quality content, and perhaps amassing a large following, you may now be eligible to apply for verification. If your account meets the eligibility requirements, you can submit an application for verification through the TikTok app. The process includes providing your full name, date of birth, country of residence, email address, and phone number. You’ll also need to upload a photo of yourself or your business logo, as well as identification documents like a passport or driver’s license. Once you’ve submitted your application, TikTok will review it and determine whether to grant you verification.Wait for verificationThe verification process on TikTok can be a lengthy one, taking up to several weeks. But it's worth the wait to get that blue checkmark next to your name.So what can you do while waiting for TikTok to verify your account? You can check if you've completed all the necessary steps in the verification process. You also need to make sure you're using an up-to-date version of the app and your phone's operating system is also up to date. If you still can't get verified, contact TikTok's support team for more help. How Many TikTok Followers Do You Need to Get Verified? In today's digital age, it's more important than ever to grow your social media followers.According to TikTok help guidelines, there are no follower requirements for getting verified. Tell a story. If you can tell a story in your caption, it’ll be more engaging than just a simple statementCaption Structure Aside from writing interesting captions to increase your Instagram engagement 2022, you should also use caption structure. Captions with a clear structure are easier for followers to read and understand. They also help keep followers engaged with your account. There are three main types of caption structures: chronological, topical, and questions. Chronological captions tell a story in order, starting from the beginning. This type of caption is best for capturing moments or experiences. Meanwhile, topic captions focus on one topic and can be used to provide more information about a picture or to start a discussion. Lastly, question captions pose a query that encourages followers to respond. They can be used to get feedback or simply engage followers in a conversation. No matter which type of caption structure you choose, be sure to keep it brief. Use Hashtags Sparingly Hashtags can be a great way to increase the visibility of your posts and connect with other users on Instagram. However, using them sparingly is the key. If you use too many hashtags, your posts can look spammy and may not be seen by as many people. Here are a few Instagram engagement tips for using hashtags effectively:Use no more than 3-5 hashtags per post. Make sure the hashtags are relevant to your post. Don't use the same hashtags over and over again. Think about how people will search for topics related to your post. Be creative with your hashtags.Using hashtags correctly can help you increase your Instagram engagement and connect with more users. By using images that create a double meaning, you can entertain and engage your followers while also promoting your brand or product. Here are some effective Instagram engagement tips for creating visual puns:Keep it simple. A visual pun doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, often the simpler ones are the funniest. Use images that are easily recognizable. Your followers should be able to understand the joke without having to think too hard about it. Have fun with it! The best visual puns are those that make people laugh out loud.Post at Appropriate Times [caption id="attachment_7547" align="aligncenter" width="1200"] You can post anytime on Instagram, but the best time to post is when most of your followers are online.[/caption]To make the most of your connections and increase engagements on Instagram, it’s important to post at appropriate times. There are a few Instagram engagement tips to consider when it comes to timing your posts. For one, you need to think about your followers’ time zones. If you have a global audience, you’ll need to post at different times throughout the day to reach as many people as possible. Additionally, you should take into account what time of year it is and what events are happening. For example, if you’re a retailer that sells Christmas decorations, you’ll want to post about your products well before December arrives. Use High-Quality Photos One of the best ways how to increase engagement on Instagram for business is by using high-quality photos. However, not all photos are created equal. There are a few things you can do to make your photos stand out and help you get more engagement. The first thing to consider is the composition of your photo. Make sure you’re thinking about the rule of thirds when composing your photo. This will help you create a more interesting and visually appealing photo. Another thing to consider is lighting. Try to take your photos in natural light whenever possible. If you need to use artificial light, make sure it’s bright and doesn’t create harsh shadows. Finally, use a good quality camera. If you have an iPhone, there are a lot of great apps that can help you to improve the quality of your photos. Build Your Account Before Posting When you're starting out on Instagram, it can be difficult to get your account seen by more people. Luckily, there are a few things you can do to help increase your engagements and get your account in front of more people. One is to make sure you have a great profile picture and bio. This will help people feel more inclined to follow you and see what you're all about. You should also make sure to post consistently and use relevant hashtags. Finally, you can use Instagram's advertising platform to reach even more people. Instagram Ads allow you to target specific demographics, interests, and even locations. So, if you want to grow your account quickly, using Instagram Ads is a great way to do it. Ask Questions in Quotes If you want to increase your Instagram engagements, try asking questions in quotes. This type of content is great for engaging with your followers and can help create a more interactive experience on the platform. Not only will this help increase interactions with your audience, but it can also help you to learn more about what they’re interested in. Asking questions is also a great way to start a conversation with your followers and get them involved in your brand. Use the Right Emojis [caption id="attachment_7548" align="aligncenter" width="1200"] If you want to use emojis on Instagram, you should use the ones that are most appropriate for your post.[/caption]When you’re sending a text, do you ever use emojis? Many people do, and there’s a reason why. Emojis make messages more interesting and can help increase engagement on social media platforms like Instagram. Here are three tips for using emojis to get more likes and comments:Know which emojis people respond to the most. Certain emojis tend to generate more reactions than others. The most popular emoji on Instagram is the “Face with Tears of Joy,” which is used in over 25% of all posts. Other popular emojis include hearts, kisses, and positive expressions like smiling faces. Use emojis that are relevant to your post. If you’re posting about your trip to Italy, for example, use the Italian flag emoji or the pizza emoji. If you’re posting about a new product, use the product icon as your emoji or something related to it. This will help your followers to understand what you’re talking about. Consider the tone of your post and use an emoji that matches it. If you’re posting something lighthearted, for instance, use a happy emoji.Tag Your Friends in Comments Tagging friends in your posts can help increase engagement on Instagram. When someone sees a post they're tagged in, they may be more likely to like or comment on it. This will help expose your post to more people, who may then start following you or even liking and commenting on your posts.Additionally, you can get creative and come up with fun challenges for your followers. For example, you could challenge them to tag 10 friends in one comment or tag someone who has made them laugh recently. Find Accounts to Follow and Engage Naturally [caption id="attachment_7546" align="aligncenter" width="1200"] If you want to find some accounts to follow on Instagram, you can search for hashtags that interest you, or look up accounts that your friends are following.[/caption]One of the best ways to increase your Instagram engagements is to find accounts to follow and engage with naturally. When you're looking for new accounts to follow, think about the topics and types of content that interest you. Follow accounts that post photos and videos that are similar to the ones you post on your own account.Once you see an interesting post, leave a comment or like it. Responding to other users' posts shows that you're engaged with their content and encourages them to respond. Use Tools to Help You Engage There are a number of tools you can use to help increase your Instagram engagements. One of the most popular tools is Iconosquare, which provides you with a wealth of data on your account. It tells you how many people are following you, how many people you’re following, and how many posts you have. The tool also tells you which posts have had the most engagement and who’s engaging with your content, so you can learn what works well for you and continue to post similar content.Another great tool is Simply Measured. This application allows you to track not only your Instagram engagements but also those of your competitors. You can see what content is resonating with their followers and try to emulate that in your own marketing efforts. Finally, Sprout Social offers a suite of tools to help businesses grow their social media presence. Learn more about this software in this Sprout Social review.  Instagram Engagement FAQs Here are some frequently asked questions about Instagram engagement. Is 3% engagement good on Instagram? There’s no definitive answer to whether a 3% engagement is good on Instagram. However, according to a study by Socialbakers, accounts with 3 or more posts per day have an average engagement rate of 4.73%. This means that if you want to increase your chances of having your posts seen and interacted with by users, posting more regularly may be the way to go. Additionally, another study conducted by Quintly found that accounts that post more than 10 times per day have an average engagement rate of only 2.7%. All your marketing strategies will be ineffective if you don’t have any idea how their algorithm works. Here’s what you can do to be in their favor.  Key TakeawaysSuccess on TikTok hinges on grasping its algorithm, which prioritizes content based on user interactions, video information, and device/account settings. To stand out, produce high-quality, authentic videos that resonate with your target audience. Utilize trending sounds, hashtags, and challenges to increase visibility.Regular posting keeps your audience engaged and signals to the algorithm that you're an active creator, potentially boosting your content's reach.Utilize features like Duet, Stitch, and Live to interact with other users and expand your content's reach. TikTok offers various monetization avenues, including the Creator Fund, brand partnerships, merchandise sales, and live gifts. Establish a unique style and voice that sets you apart, making your content recognizable and fostering a loyal following. How To Stand Out On Tiktok: TikTok Algorithm Hacks (Phases 1-4) [caption id="attachment_7380" align="alignnone" width="1024"] Understanding the TikTok algorithm is the first step to becoming a TikTok influencer[/caption]Do these easy hacks and make sure you implement these changes if you don't want the algorithm to work against you.  There are two main goals of TikTok. One is to attract people to the platform, and the second is to make people stay on the platform.  So that is your main role, and if you accomplish that, TikTok will reward you for it. Every time you post a video on TikTok it is first shown to a small number of people in the first phase. When they see that you meet their criteria, say for watch time and interactions, your video will be qualified for the second phase. Now in this next phase, a larger group of people will be shown and your video goes through the same process. If you meet the same criteria for interactions and watch time, your video will again be able to go to the third phase. And this will not be as daunting if you have a social media scheduler. Read our Mishu Guru review to know how to make life easier. The same process will take place in this phase but again, to a bigger group of people. Before it jumps to the fourth and final phase where it goes viral, something happens. It will not be an AI but a human being who will check your video to ensure your content adheres to the social media platform's policy. Only then will this turn into a viral video. So here’s what you do to get through phases 1-4.  Add Keywords Add keywords to your videos. Keep in mind that the algorithm understands what your content is all about. They can then share it with other users who are also in that niche. This is crucial because when the algorithm finds people who are truly interested in your niche content, the higher the chances they will watch it until the end. Thus, you need to add related keywords to your videos. This is how brands, influencers, and content creators grow on this platform because this is how you generate followers and boost your views.  Call To Action (CTA) How do you get a lot of attention on TikTok? You need to put a call to action in all of your videos if you intend to grow on TikTok. The algorithm tracks your video engagement, which means all its likes, follows, comments, shares, and saves. So the more interactions or engagements you have in your videos, the TikTok algorithm is more likely to pick up the message. The message that your content is worth sharing with a lot more people. If you keep doing this, the higher your chances of your video going viral. Your call to action may be directing users to your video's comment section where tons of info about your content can be found. You can also ask a question that is good news to TikTok's algorithm. Why? Because while viewers are reading the comments, the video is still in the background playing, which helps in boosting your video views. A better way however is to put your call to action at the start of your video. You may find it a bit weird but there's a good reason for it. If you're just starting and checking your analytics, you may notice that not everyone gets to the end of a video. Therefore, if you put your call to action at the end of the video, not everyone will be able to follow through.  Add Hashtags When you're adding TikTok hashtags you're telling the algorithm what your content is all about, and to share it with the right type of people who are most likely to watch them until the end. The platform will then reward you by showing your content to more and more people who are into your particular niche. You're also doing your viewers a favor by making it super easy for them to find your videos through your hashtags. Also, spend some time doing your research and finding out the hashtags being used by the top viral videos on TikTok. If it works for them, it can work for you.  Join The Community [caption id="attachment_7382" align="alignnone" width="1024"] No man is an island, so belong to a TikTok community to help you grow and flourish as an influencer[/caption]If your game plan merely consists of posting your video, doing some scrolling time, and then getting off TikTok, you ought to know—you're not going to make it. For those who wish to grow their brand, they must interact with other TikTok content creators apart from themselves. When TikTok sees this it will reward them for it. What you'd want to do is to follow profiles of those that are in your niche and even those who are not but are showing genuine interest in your videos. By doing this you'll be able to come up with more unique and out-of-the-box ideas. The more time you spend on TikTok, the more you get your creative juices flowing. Not only will you get inspiration to create something different outside your niche, but you will also be an active and valuable member of the community. So make it a habit to interact with other content creators and brands, and make sure your comments are sincere all the time. Phonies can be spotted a mile away. Don't like and share if you will never recommend or use the product, nor should you endorse anything that will jeopardize your brand. How To Stand Out On TikTok: Why Should You Want To? [caption id="attachment_7381" align="alignnone" width="1024"] Amazing TikTok traffic statistics according to Cloudflare[/caption]Up to this point, you may still be thinking, but how can I become TikTok famous quickly? Will these hacks work? Won't I be safer staying on my Instagram or YouTube social media platforms? The TikTok Marketing Statistics tell you otherwise. The thing is, something happens on TikTok where you only need a single video to go viral and your brand or business can explode at a snap of a finger. This may sound like a gross exaggeration, but this happens a thousand times a day, every day. You see it on posts, Facebook, or Instagram. This one person hits the perfect audience at the perfect time. All of a sudden they have generated 10,000 new customers. So from being a small pop-up store it turns into something massive overnight. TikTok managed to outpace Google in being the top 1 destination on the internet. There were more hits on TikTok compared to Google. This is according to a study by Cloudflare about the most popular domains in late 2021. This is the first time in history since Google’s launch. So if that doesn't prove anything, what does? How Much To Charge For TikTok Post [caption id="attachment_7379" align="alignnone" width="1024"] Value your brand and your efforts, but don't forget to give your clients their money's worth either[/caption]Alright, so in case you're now convinced that you should go on the TikTok bandwagon and be successful at it, how do you go about it? How do you make money via partnerships or sponsorships with brands and companies? Furthermore, is there such a thing as a TikTok money calculator to know how much to charge/earn? We’ll talk about all of that. But for now, we're going to discuss the different ways of reaching out to brands so you can start working with them. Regardless if you have a few hundred or thousands of followers, you can begin by learning a few important strategies.  Allow Brands To Reach Out To You Here you did not make a pitch, you did not promote your brand or tell them what you can do for their company. Nothing. You just wait for them to come to you because you know (by checking your analytics) that your videos are doing great on TikTok.  Be Part Of Influencer Platforms Another way to connect with brands is by becoming part of influencer marketing platforms. There are plenty of similar platforms to choose from. So find one that suits you, one you'll have successful collaborations with.  Send Emails This one is another straightforward approach. All you have to do is send an email to the brand you wish to partner with. Do your research and make sure you know how to sell yourself, make your convincing power work! Also, make sure your email is readily seen in your TikTok profile so brands can easily reach you when they find your profile. When doing this you will need a media kit. A media kit is a presentation that shows your potential client the number of followers you have, how much engagement you get, or the demographics your brand caters to. This will also feature your type of content. Your type of content will ultimately determine if you are suited to this particular collaboration.  On Charging Your Clients [caption id="attachment_7383" align="alignnone" width="1024"] Keep your client's loyalty by providing content that's worth their hard-earned money[/caption]Now for the exciting part, how much do you charge your client? Honestly, plenty of creators undercharge, when they ought to be charging more. It depends on how big the brand or the company you will be partnering with. Again, your analytics is your friend so don’t hesitate to use it. Also, conduct your research in your TikTok community so you have a good idea of how much to charge. Even if it’s just a ballpark figure. Some content creators who have over 45,000 followers charge around $800 for one TikTok video. Remember, however, that you should never be afraid to negotiate. You aim to have a higher quote because what usually happens is these brands come up with a lower offer. So in the end that's how you will decide on the entire cost of the collaboration.  Be Authentic Be careful when doing collaborations. Money should not be your only motivation. Choose brands whom you truly feel a connection with. What is your reason for creating content for them? Is their brand really good, and are their products reliable? Or is it all hype? As mentioned earlier, phonies can be detected a mile away. People will know if you are veering away from your brand, from your authentic self, or your beliefs, all for the sake of money. This will be your downfall. If their products prove to be major rip-offs, you too will be dragged through the mud. So, be careful.  FAQHow does the TikTok algorithm work?
